Dear Camp Directors,

Happy spring! Summer will soon be approaching and we wanted to let you know about some fun things to do at the Altamont Fair, August 16-21, 2022. The fair is a great place for groups and camps to enjoy lots of summer fun. If you purchase 20 or more tickets, the price is $15 per ticket (savings of up to per ticket). The tickets can be used any day of the fair. This ticket includes unlimited midway rides and entry to all of our great shows.

Some of the daily shows that are included with admission are the Dynamo Dogs, The Royal Hanneford Circus, Pig Races, Petting Zoo, Demolition Derbies and lots of other entertainment. We have an Ag Awareness Trail where kids can win free prizes while learning about animals and agriculture. Local Libraries are helping us with our new program, “Books in the Barnyard.” This is where children are read a story about a farm animal and then can get up close and personal with the animal afterwards. Plus, don’t forget to go in all of our great educational museums where we have hands on activities for children. Check out our website for more up to date schedules for each day to plan your trip!

We can accommodate buses and large groups for entrance to the fair. Students and campers are allowed to bring their own lunches or buy fair food. Our Dutch Barn is the perfect location to take a lunch break and get out of the sun.
